About

Sharon Hanna established Bay Hill Farm in 2004 after finally finding the perfect property. It was a long search and after many years of boarding and renting farms, the dream became a reality.

Sharon has been breeding horses on a small scale since 1989, and riding since 1977. She has competed in hunters, jumpers, dressage and combined training.

Sharon's first introduction to the Cleveland Bay breed was in 1989. She met Ramblers Renown, a rare purebred Cleveland Bay stallion at IdleHour Stud while working for the Webster's. It was love at first ride. "The first time I rode Rambler I vowed to breed a mare to him someday. He was amazing."

It took almost 10 years to make that dream happen. On a Mission (aka. Scooter) was the resulting foal out of the beloved Thoroughbred mare Libby.

Bay Hill Farm now has 6 brood mares, several foals and are lucky to be standing IdleHour Lions Share. The history continues to unfold.
